Butterfly Wrist Bag
Here is the butterfly wrist bag I finished last night. It is for one of DD#1's friends. We will use this as the gift bag for her birthday present, and she gets 2 gifts in one!

This and That
It has been a busy week. Since my preschool co-teacher is out with a broken ankle, I have had to take over. Amanda has been sick - again. I had to finish a painting project for a preschool silent auction and a scrapbook page for a friend. So....my crocheting has been sporadic. I did get some done while sitting outside watching the kids. I am now making crocheted roses for Mother's Day corsages for my preschool moms. I am also still working on the pineapple baby afghan. Maybe I will get to crochet some this weekend. IN the meantime, boxes keep arriving and my stash keep growing! But, only until May 1 when I begin the Stashbusters Challenge at Crochetville!

Shell Baby Afghan
I finally got this one finished. I had to "frog" a couple of times to get it the way I wanted it, but I am pretty happy with how it turned out. Now I am making a peach one in a pineapple pattern.

Back to Baby Afghans
Took a little crocheting hiatus to finish the 18 covered journals I had to make for the preschool parent's board members. I also need to get cracking on the scrapbook for DD #1's first grade teacher. But in the meantime, I am spending my afternoon working on the green baby afghan. DD #2 has a fever and is sick, so we will be inside today.

Finished the Afghan
I finally finished the afghan made from Baby Clouds in pastel. It started life as a baby afghan, but was too thick. So, I finished and I am using it. Guess I finally made something for myself!

A New Day A New Blog
Well, there are so many better looking blogs out there than mine, I thought I'd try one on a new site and see if I could get something a little fancier. But, alas, I think my own ignorance is going to keep me simple forever!
